I chose the hotel due to the proximity of the amphitheater. The price variance, that I now know was because of GenCon, wasnt my favorite. We were there to celebrate our Anniversary month and see one of my favorite artists~Darius Rucker. Our experience was AMAZING!!! At reception, I believe Trish was who took it to the next level of feeling like we were in a high- service hotel that wants your occasion to feel so exceptional!!! The look on her face revealed that we were in for something special. The treats in the room really hit the spot and elevated everything! Then... our pre-dinner drinks at the bar continued that good feeling. Attentive service. Thoughtful conversation. Real connection. At Dean's--- same exact thing!!! Food was delicious. Service was great and, it seems silly that 1 complimentary glass of wine would make me feel so special! Just wanted to say~I truly had no expectations, but the JW Marriot is a place that I've already recommended and would love to return! Thank you!

The JW Marriott Indianapolis has been my most disappointing stay as a Marriott Bonvoy member, especially considering how many Marriott properties I have stayed at over the years. One of the biggest disappointments is that the hotel does not have a pool, which is an amenity I typically expect from a property of this caliber. The hotel also seems to cater almost exclusively to conferences, so the lobby is consistently overcrowded and extremely busy. For business travelers, there are very few comfortable or quiet areas to work on a laptop outside of the guest rooms. Additionally, the temperature throughout the hotel is kept uncomfortably cold. The elevators often require long waits, and the daily parking fee is excessively expensive. While room service was good, the guest rooms themselves are smaller than expected for a JW Marriott. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was not particularly welcoming or friendly. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff and the employees who assisted with luggage were courteous, professional, and provided excellent service. Liza made our stay off to a wonderful start! She checked us in quickly and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. She made the entire check-in process seamless, and we truly appreciated her warm welcome. The team in the lounge was equally outstanding. Mesert went above and beyond by arranging special desserts for us since we were going to miss the regular dessert service. That thoughtful gesture made us feel truly valued and was such a sweet surprise. Lizzie and Diamond were also wonderful—both were friendly, personable, and helped create a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. Thank you to Liza, Mesert, Lizzie, and Diamond for your exceptional hospitality. Your kindness and outstanding service made our stay even more memorable!

We are very happy with our hotel stay and the location could not be more perfect. Walking distance to everything and in a safe and pretty area. Great fitness center; one of the best. Yet this reviews is going to focus on the executive lounge on the 31st floor. It is a nice lounge with wonderful views of the city. The food is good and plentiful. It is one of the few lounges that is open 7 days a week. Notice that it is not open 24 hours; it is open from 6.30 am to 10.00pm. All the staff in the lounge is hard working and dedicated. Lizzie shines with her own light. She always has a genuine smile on her face. She is also genuinely nice to everyone, to the patrons and to her coworkers. She goes the extra mile to help anyone. The days that Lizzie is off you can feel her void; the lounge doesn’t have the same vibe! Thank you Lizzie!
